Lily blindly stared at the big white screen. The documentary could have been about global warming, or migrating flamingos, she didn’t know, because her eyes weren’t seeing it and her ears weren’t hearing it.

Baran sat next to her, eating from a bag of chips and ignoring her distress as if he hadn’t just dropped a bomb on her an hour ago.

He had basically told her he was going to seduce her. The question was, why was she even considering it? If this thing between them was going to work, it was better to keep it strictly business. Up till now he had treated it as just that. He had married her so in his mind, he wanted what he considered his dues. She definitely hadn’t missed his arousal against her when he insinuated he was going to sleep with her. Worse, she couldn’t deny that she wanted him as well.

She shouldn’t make more of it than it was. He just wanted to scratch an itch. And why couldn’t she do the same?

She grabbed some popcorn and once again tried to concentrate on the screen. There was a rainforest in grave danger…

A pair of fingers turned her face to the right. Then Baran’s lips were on her mouth. His tongue forced her lips apart and dove right in.

Heat engulfed her and her hand holding the popcorn went slack. She wasn’t sure how long his lips and tongue made love to her, but by the time he pulled away her eyes were a little misty. As if satisfied by her dazed look he went for her again. This time his other hand got involved. It went under her shirt and snaked up to her breasts.

When a finger brushed over her nipple, she couldn’t hold back a moan. It felt as if her breasts were larger, hotter, as they longed for more of his touch. He pinched a nipple at the same time his tongue dove deeper into her mouth, crushing her lips.

Then he leaned back into his chair and popped another Dorito in his mouth.
